History

The International Society for Applied Cardiovascular Biology (ISACB) was founded in 1987, and is devoted to:

Improve the quality of basic and applied research in all areas of cardiovascular biology.
Enhance communication between basic scientists, industry scientists and clinicians involved in these disciplines throughout the world.
Provide a forum of meetings featuring presentations of original work and topical reviews relevant to basic applied and clinical science of the cardiovascular system in health and disease.
