President’s Column

Fellow members of ISACB and ISACB Supporters:

Dr. FRED SCHOEN

I hope that you have had a joyful holiday season and are settling back into the routine of life. As we look forward to 2008, as ISACB President, I am greatly looking forward to ISACB's 11th Biennial Meeting in Bordeaux, France, Sept. 17-20, 2008, which will focus on translation of innovative cardiovascular research from the laboratory to the bedside. We have assembled an outstanding scientific program and now is the time to submit abstracts detailing the latest translational cardiovascular research derived from your laboratories and patient care settings.

We are making every possible effort to spread the word of ISACB and the Bordeaux meeting and would ask you to share via e-mail the attached letter from me with your local and remote collaborators and other colleagues who may have interest in submitting their work and attending the meeting. We are eager to cast the net for meeting participation and attendance as wide as possible. Abstracts are being accepted on-line through the ISACB/conference website, www.isacb.org/submit_abstract.asp, for both Oral or Poster Communications, now through the February 1, 2008 deadline. Click to access the Abstract Submission letter from Dr. Fred Schoen (pdf)

Best wishes for a prosperous and productive New Year.
