POLYMER SCIENCE POST-DOC
The Chris Barnard Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery, University of Cape Town, South Africa, invites applications for a 2-year post-doctoral fellowship position.
Project: Development and evaluation of synthetic stent-graft blood vessels on the basis of bio-engineered tissue regeneration.
Requirements: A Ph.D. in Polymer Science, Materials Science/Engineering. Experience with or knowledge of biomaterials, electro-spinning, textiles or drug delivery/slow release systems would be a recommendation. A state of the art, multidisciplinary working environment and a locally-competitive, tax-free fellowship are offered.
