ISACB "Off-Year" Meeting

ISACB will host its “Off-year Symposium” in Darwin, Australia, on August 13-15, 2007. The conference venue is the Crowne Plaza Darwin, 32 Mitchell St (GPO Box 1750), Darwin NT 0801 Australia.
If you plan to attend you will need to make your own bookings for accommodation at this hotel by email to Allison Burns (groups.nt@ichotelsgroup.com) or by phone (Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Darwin time at +61 8 8901 0704). You must quote 'ISA' to reference the ISACB group booking to receive the discounted room rate. If you don't want to stay at the Crowne Plaza, there are plenty of other hotels in Darwin.
Delegates should arrive in Darwin by Sunday Aug 12, as a reception/dinner together has been planned for that evening. The conference sessions will be all day on Monday, August 13th, with another organized dinner that evening. Tuesday, August 14th,will be a social day, and there will be a group trip to Litchfield National Park organized for those who are interested (more info later). There are plenty of alternative activities such as deep sea fishing, flights over Kakadu, Yellow River and Arnhem Land, Top End Wild Life Tour, Katherine Gorge Cruise etc that attendees may choose to organize individually. Wednesday August 15th will be either a half or full day conference, with another social event in the afternoon/evening.
Those who want to spend a few days in Kakadu (about 2.5 hours drive from Darwin) should book individually for times before or after the conference (need 2-3 days).
