We are excited about the opportunity to bring the 16th Biannual International Society of Applied Cardiovascular Biology (ISACB) Biennial meeting to Europe in 2018! The meeting will be held at the Palais de la Bourse in the historic downtown of Bordeaux, France from September 16 through the 19, 2018.

This edition of the meeting will be particularly Euro-centric and will bring together thought leaders from most EU countries.  This meeting is entitled “News Horizons and Challenges in Translational and Applied Cardiovascular Science” and will address a range of topics including: vascular grafts, heart valves, tissue engineering, cell therapies, tissue mechanics, and molecular therapeutics.  ISACB is devoted to enhancing discovery, development and clinical translation of cutting edge biomedical science for innovative, state of the art cardiovascular diagnostic and therapeutics. This is a unique society that brings together the best clinicians, engineers, and scientists from academia and industry with a mix of junior and senior investigators and trainees. ISACB currently has members throughout North America, South America, Europe, Asia and Africa.

On behalf of the entire Executive Council of ISACB and the 2018 Biennial Meeting organizing committee, I invite you to be part of an exciting meeting. If you have never been to an ISACB Biennial Meeting, you will be impressed by its true multi-disciplinary nature and the focused, intimate feel that lends itself to networking and one-on-one interactions. Attendees from all around the world and spanning the continuum of the cardiovascular sciences – from basic scientists, to engineers, to clinician-scientists, to industry – will be present, making this a unique opportunity.”
